A couple of recent arrivals:

 

The first from 1970:

 

 

Jethro Tull - Benefit.

 

A UK 1st press, filling a hole which has been too long in my collection.

 

Second LP was released yesterday:

 

Emily Barker - Fragile As Humans Deluxe Edition.

 

One of the many joys of this hobby is that 2 albums released 54 years apart can both provide such pleasure.

 

Now to find time to clean and play them, although I am retired life is stupidly busy at the moment.

I really do like that 'colour enhanced' cover.

 

I bought the 2017 reissue  of this last year (not remastered) and it was also pressed by GZ....definitely ok but not outstanding.

yea the enhance cover is really nice - fall in luv with her eyes.

 

Sonically this is supposed to be the best sounding version - It sounds good, but that's all - still compressed to schiit.

Linkin Park – Hybrid Theory  - After being in HK for a week hanging at a bunch of seedy bars listening to a bunch of Filipino cover bands - the band @ Amazonia was especially awesome with their nu metal favs  - I had to pick up a few gaps in my collection.

   This is the 2013 Optimal pressing and the mastering and vinyl is superb  - be quick, still two on zon au.

@Marc I tried looking for Rusty - still no sign of him

Just now on Ebay(!), Hawkwind "Sonic Attack" UK 1st pressing.....graded Ex from a trusted UK seller (Ex usually means NM with this seller, esp. post glue clean) and at a great price.

On a bit of a Hawkwind kick atm.....but have wanted this one for ages and just found a cheap(ish) copy on Discogs.

 

Hawkwind "All Aboard The Skylark", from 2019, graded 'mint' French (MPO) pressing. Back to their space rock best on this one.

Just discovered this band on youtube, Robot God.....who according to Discogs are "a psych space stoner rock band from Sydney Australia who offer a powerful blend of space rock, traditional stoner and psychedelia." Right up my alley at the moment and I'm not even a stoner anymore. This is their third album.

Had to go on a German website (with lots of Google translate!) to get it done, none for sale via Discogs. Only 500 copies of this available in blue/white marbled vinyl.

 

Robot God "Portal Within".....I assume a German pressing but recorded in Sydney and mastered by Don Bartley.

It certainly is a wonderful album. There are a few 1st pressings on eBay at the moment, in various conditions. 
 

Another terrific album by Shane Howard is Live in Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Only available on CD (digipack), and pretty hard to find, but if you can, it’s well worth it.

Where’d you get your Bill Evans from? It took me a lot of searching, but I eventually tracked one down at Badlands Vinyl in Tweed Heads. A bit of a distance from Tassie….
