Extra Info:

No big write up here as I usually do. I figure if you are willing to pay the money for these speakers you know what they are, and what their about.

Similar to the L96's but they have a slightly better crossover and use a different tweeter. The cabinets are slightly smaller then the L96's and they are a bit punchier. The 066 has a more extended treble rolling off around 23k while the 044 in the L96's, from memory rolls off around 18k.

Don't confuse these JBL's with the performance of the L100's or 4311B's. These are light years better.

Woofers are LE11H's which are the same as the LE10H's but the white aquaplas is on the back. This is important as aftermarket recones do not have the aquaplas and provide the correct cone mass or damping effect.

Crossovers are original but the all the components have been upgraded to Mundorf Supremes in the Tweeter and Mid-range and M-Caps in the woofer. Jantzen air coils all round besides the one coil in the mid-range which has a DCR of 7.5ohm, this coil was left original. Resistors from memory are M-Resists and binding posts upgraded to 5-way Daytons.

Woofers have been refoamed using Rick Cobb's foam surrounds. They are the correct durometer of the original surround. Done probably 2 years ago.

They are in very tidy condition with only a few cosmetic marks on the cabinets but they would please even the fussiest of buyers. One of the mid-range dust caps is slightly crinkled but I can give you an original aluminum one to replace it if that bothers you.

Comes with the original JBL stands.

Local pick up only or organise your own freight. It is too stressful posting speakers and I am not willing to do it anymore.

I want to take them but am in NSW. what speakers are you using atm?

Hi Mate

I have JBL 250TI's. Not keen on freighting them myself. Boxing them properly can get costly and once they are on their way, I can't help but worry.
