That is my iPhone 5 and Dita The Answer music set-up for work/travel.

I've also had AKG and B&W too and while they are all very nice, Sennheiser has been a favourite of mine since I was introduced to quality hifi in the 80's.

My Humble Senneiser HP rig, used as a "reference"

with Raspberry PI (Net based media and Synology NAS), HiFi Berry DAC + and

Burson Supreme ,Lycan, Class A.

Monitoring and interface via WiFi smart phone

Wit, is fairly serious the little rig, happy with it as it stands, took a month of code typing to get it to go. :)

Cheers

I usually use current headphones at the end of a 12+ hour day when I realise I need to start and finish a presentation before I leave work... Pop these in (Vsonic phones - bought based on a review which I wish I hadn't listened to...) and listen to Katatonia or Horrorshow depending on my mood... The source is a Nexus 6. Problem is the headphones are uncomfortable, don't sound great, and are somewhat ugly! That said - Socrates pulls them off with ease - but I don't have his style...

Yes, that's right, for the first time in my life, I don't own any good headphones, except the garbage that came with this iPhone.

My iPhone needs some friends, and unfortunately I have to spend all my hard earned money from washing YOUR pets, on a pair of 805D3's, and that does not leave me any more money for headphones.

So, for all the dogs I've washed for you, give a little love back.

Yours sincerly, Sime the headphoneless.

Hello,

I lust after a nice set of headphones but budget limits me.I find that my taste in music & listening to audio books tends to disturb those around me. So I prefer the isolation that canal phones offer, also that you don't have to turn them up  to hear what you are listening to.

I currently use Etymotic MC5's, which are super glued together :-(, they are good for spoken word but lack any bass presence. My previous headphone were Sennheiser cx-300. So please, I'd really like Sennheiser IE80. They would be cherished.

I travel each day to work for an hour. Would like to stand out for having beautiful canal phones, rather than noise leakage and looking like a robot off Dr Who. I am all about on the go music with my Axon 7 and it's dedicated inbuilt Audio dac

My work desk setup is Sennheiser Urbanite & Pono Player for excellent sound to get through the day.

At home, HD600 with CH650S balanced cable and a balanced amplifier for reference sound in comfort (HD800S one day).

Each of these are IMO excellent value for money in their respective categories and require reasonable sums of money to find a better product.

IE80 Martin Solveig Limited Ed would balance out a fully Sennheiser collection for top notch sound on the go and let me get on with saving for those HD800S!

This is my entry. There is no headphone set up.. read on and you will know why..

In a faraway place, there was once a lad,

Who had some Sennies , that he thought were rad,

He took it with him, wherever he went

The music was so divine… almost godsent

Then one day, it had to happen

He stumbled upon a attack, that was so brazen

He was stunned and he was shocked

For he found his Sennies, had been F**ked

At the end of this, you will see the crime

Too gruesome too painful, can’t make it rhyme

So now….

At the end of the day, as he lays tired

He doesn’t have his headphones… oh it’s so quiet

Down his face, roll the tears

And all he asks for is ,“ SNA … PLEASE PIMP MY EARS "

The Crime

I hate it when people blame their dogs for things they did themselves, when drunk, high or when they had a brain fart!

Innocent until proven guilty...;)

I'd like to win these ear buds because I look somewhat ridiculous jumping onto public transport wearing over the ear heardphones this big!

Ahh! These would be amazing - I love the design too. Since I don't have a good set up, I've made a poem to compensate ( I didn't want to get my cat or baby cousin involved but desperate times call for desperate measures )

Here goes :

It's been a long time since I've had decent headphones

Thanks to Christmas gifts, avo toast and student loans

My current pair I acquired from a tourist bus

Them being free? the only plus !

The sound quality is awful, only the left pod is working

Me tolerating them for 6 months? Really the saddest thing..

Thanks for the chance to win this quality pair

With these beauties I'll be walking on air

I was treking in Nepal recently and had my buds stolen. Off the beaten track it was difficult to find a 'high-end' audio equipment store at 3200m. Surprisingly however, I picked up these for the equivalent of $4.50 in a remote lodge. Dreadful headphones but the the upside is they are a handy reminder of how much a decent set of ear canal phones should be an essential part of everyones everyday kit... and boy don't these Sennheisers fit the bill :))

To many greedy people who want to win something they already own and that I don't.

Greedy I says.
