SENNHEISER MARTIN SOLVEIG LIMITED EDITION IE-80

IE-80_Special-Edition_Pack-shot-1.jpg

To celebrate Sennheiser's collaboration with top DJ, Martin Solveig, StereoNET has secured two pairs of very limited edition IE-80, a new version of one of the finest ear-canal phones on the market. The Limited Edition is valued at $599.95 and features a one-of-a-kind design on its housing, created specially by Solveig and French graffiti legend Noé Two.

This Limited Edition version will not be available for sale, and can only be obtained through special promotions and giveaways. It will without doubt, become a collectors item.

To be in the running to win a pair, entry couldn't be simpler!

Entry is only open to registered StereoNET members (including new members). Simply reply to this post with a photo of your current headphones or HeadFi setup. Add some sincere or witty words about why you would like to win the Martin Solveig Limited Edition Sennheiser IE80. There's no hard and fast rules, other than you must reside within Australia. Together with Sennheiser Australia, we just want to spread the Christmas spirit of giving at this time of year.

The winners will be selected by StereoNET Admin, and entries will not be eligible after 12:00PM (AEDT) December 24th, 2016. Winners will be announced on StereoNET and social media later that same day. Is there a better Christmas present than winning a pair of the Limited Edition IE-80? We think not!

Let the entries begin, and good luck ... :thumb:

My ears are begging you for some new Sennies Marc!!

Below is my headphone rig... I've been using Sennheiser HD-25MKII's for 20+ years now. And yep, i've been using the same trusty first pair i bought for all of these years. I'm proud that my beloved pair have the 'made in Germany' tag which disappeared many years ago.

In my opinion, anything other than Technics for TT's (DJ) or Sennheiser for headphones are merely imposters! My loyalty will always be with Sennheiser.

My HD-25's have taken an absolute beating (as you can see) and have never failed me. I think i have taken them to within an inch of their life though and it is time for them to get some rest! I hear all the kids these days are using iems for Dj'ing so would be fun to see what that's like :)

As we enter a new world order, one will need the tools to block out the outside world.

Right now, a pair of decent iem's are right up there on my shopping list..

These are my Sennheiser HD-580s ... lasted me a good 10 years but are now dying (just like me).

I use my phone for listening these days, so the 580s aren't getting much use, and the stock headphones for the phone are kinda shite, so a nice pair of  IE-80s, would be just beaut, and by beaut I mean "totally sweet".

I can't believe it... i've never won anything in my life!! I've just arrived home from Xmas lunch and thought i'd check out who the luck winners were and then noticed there was a notification from Marc.... When i saw it was to say i'd won i started running around the house like a mad man! You reckon my 2 year old boy was excited to unwrap all of his presents this morning?? That was nothing compared to my excitement over winning new Sennies!

@Marc , many thanks for the prize, the website, and the amazing community that stereonet is.

Merry Xmas everyone :)

This is preposterous. I was certain I would win even though I did not bother entering. How does that work? BUT seriously well done on the concept and the competition. Merry Christmas to all.
