Cloth Ears Posted February 24 Posted February 24 We don't normally take them this young, but it went fine with left-over cannelloni from Saturday night. Light enough to be drunk now, but with enough cojones to go 15-20 against father time. A great buy (about half cellar door price) in a bottle shop in Flinders. 7 1

Mendes Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Sami-Odi Little Wine #13 (you would never know from the label) a multi vintage blend. One of probably only 3 Shiraz I buy regularly each year these days. Really, really great stuff, albeit very hard to get your hands on. This is 2023 (27%), 2022 (36%), 2021 (19%), 2020 (7%), 2019 (6%), 2018 (2%), 2017 (1%), 2016 (1%) & 2015 (1%). Edited February 28 by Mendes . 6

NonPlayableCharacter Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Happy Saturday. A 2013 Two Hands Ares Shiraz to go with a 600g reverse-sear, bone-in, Victoria, ethically-farmed porterhouse done on the offset platform in the smoker and finished over the coals. I wish you and yours the happiness and good times you deserve. Peace and love to all 5 1

chaddy Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I’ve had a few bottles of their Aussie wines but this is solidly French. A touch of barnyard funk and spritz. A delightful wine. 6
