Crowded House

together alone

I love the way he introduces Maori singing etc. to the title song!

Oh, yes I did remove the dust before play 🤫

Marlon Williams  – My Boy - wonderful album from the lad across the ditch - best pressing I have ever heard from Zenith as well.

Recorded in Auckland at Neil Finn's Roundhead Studio's is a good start to the SQ in pressing me thinks.

I bought this years ago thinking it was a longer 'official' version of the original album.....turned out it was a bootleg of the Milwaukee concert on the 'Stop Making Sense' tour.....hence the title.....and the great price!😄 Surprisingly good SQ though, Euro pressing on grey vinyl.....and 14 great songs.

I celebrated my birthday last week and my partner gave me a voucher for a well known online resource.

So I treated myself to this book, which I have had my eye on for some time.

It arrived today, so:

Repress.

Thumbing through the book it looks really interesting, very well produced and put together with photos bearing relevance to the songs. I probably wouldn't have stumped up for it myself, but it is a wonderful birthday present.

Thank you, sir.

We didn't really celebrate as my son's dog, Bonny, slipped away to the great kennel in the sky the day before.

She was 11 or 12, being a rescue we aren't quite sure.

She was loved and repaid all our love tenfold, my son and daughter-in-law gave her a wonderful last 5 years of her life.

She was a scruffy mutt, and also our "Brown Eyed Girl", we miss her, but smile when we think of the joy she gave.
