The Dentists - Some People Are On The Pitch They Think It's All Over It Is Now

Original UK pressing on Spruck Records from 1985

Has to be about the longest album title that I have...it is pretty great though!

A post like that gets one thinking.  And then i realised I don't need to think, I just need to search....

https://rateyourmusic.com/list/cotnob1/albums-with-ludicrously-long-titles/

I recognise your comment reflected albums in your collection....but it did get me thinking....then searching

For my collection ....

Or more likely ....

Which, for the record (ha ha ) is "I Was Born In The Eighties, Remember? You Might Be Older Now, As We Hang On Through The Night Like Locusts, Our Bodies Meet, And So I Can't Wrestle Heavy Drinks From The Pain, But I'd Die If I Ever Think About The Future, You Know I Could Be Happy Back In The Day, But Only If You Were My Friend"....to which i am yet to listen.

This was delivered yesterday. Another great sounding album. At times, it sounds almost Zappa vibe to me

It is a good remaster, and well transferred to vinyl to my ears.  I'd been listening to digi version as driving entertainment over last week or so....nice step back in time with extras.

Does the music sound better with the lid open  or with it not connected at all while playing music?

I certainly know my Linn does.

BTW  - you should buy Al's Linn he has for sale.  Hard to get better at price and he can set it up. Lowball him, u never know 🙂

Haven’t tried to be honest, my flat gets very dusty and prefer to keep it covered but I might give it a go after school holidays are over otherwise some incident might happen.
