metal beat Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 (edited) Rüfüs – Inhale / Exhale 2LP set.- just released on vinyl yesterday, nobody had stock - JB only received stock today. I know this album very well as have been streaming it for months now. We seemed to have lucked out here in Australia as this version is not coloured, not pressed by GZ. This version is mastered by none other than Burnie Grundman, pressed perfectly @Optimal in Germany and its good ole 140 gm, not the wankfest 180/200 gm vinyl It sounds amazing - luv it. The stylus does not care how thick the vinyl is. zero FVTA issues if vinyl thickness stayed standardised. cleaner for the environment. Edited December 14, 2024 by metal beat 6

I consider 180g vinyl just like really good cardboard stock used in record covers. Does it add to the sound? No but it adds to the tactile experience. But yes I concur those who say it makes records sound better need to have a listen to some lightweight records I've got from the early 80s. 3
Wilson71 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Slowdive - Just For A Day. Music on Vinyl 2024 repress. This is what happens when you're a completist. I bought their brilliant 'everything is alive" then had to get the whole back catalogue. 5 1
