No mate, not really commercialism, he was authentic.

You can never have too much PROG in your life.

Repeat this three times every day.

I agree wholeheartedly

But tonight I am listening to some ambient / experimental fare

However I would class it as prog

Artist - Synergy

Title - Cords circa 1978

This is a transparent record from Canada

I personaly prefer the Audion album and will spin that another day

I purchased concert tickets for Newcastle city hall back in the 70s but it was canceled

So I missed out seeing him live

Today I made a day of going to a nice lunch with friends and afterwards visiting the Brisbane record fair in West End

The traders in Russell street suited my music style & taste better

Anyway I came away with 4 albums but have committed to going with a list next month

I picked up

Bill Bruford - One of a kind

Peter Gabriel - So

Robert Frip and Andy Summers - I Advance Masked

Santana - Caravanserai

May one also say that this album needs to be in ones Bruford collection - it's that good

Still one of the most underrated/unknown rock bands of our time.

Saw them live last year at The Basement with about 200 people.....unbelievable.

This LP is in my Top 20 of all time ( not that means anything )but i love my rock and this F****** rocks !

They release everything on vinyl Too !!!!

I played this album a lot in my youth and I believe that this album release was this bands most classic and definitive album

Artist - Blue Oyster Cult

Title - Secret Treaties 1974

Got to love it - no other option

One major BOC fanboy right here. Have everything bar the last live album. If I were ever to get a tattoo on my scraggly old man arse it would be the BOC sign.

Respect.

Billy.

@Zen Mister

Ooooh Whooooo another BOC fanboy

Many a time I have contemplated getting a tattoo of images that were on record covers

But sanity prevailed and I only have one that the boys at high school gave me

If I have the urge I may also play some Uriah Heep
