Out of interest, what is State Focus?

I previously posted on ACT forum and was told, not surprisely, of the bare minimum standards that 10, Prime and win do with news, a major embarrassment for a so called national capital. Only the ABC bother with a decent bulletin.

A real estate show every Fri in prime time? Wonder though, what will happen to it when the real estate boom levels off and goes away.

I still think that they MUST reinstate the local version of 10 News, preferably 6pm, due to huge proportion of white collar workers in ACT, in peak hour traffic from 5:00 to 5:40 odd and not home to see news.

But there certainly is a place for a show like this (real estate & local)

BTW, if win want to persevere with their cheapskate unwatchable garbage news and SC10 don't want to bring theirs back, why can't Prime make a 30 or 60 min news at 6pm, in the same manner of the old 10news? Sure would get a lot of viewers and fill a big void.

Firstly, the Real Estate program is BORING, not to mention the usual bad graphics of SC10.

Secondly, State Focus is like Stateline except it's just got people talking in a studio. It's quite boring (with the usual bad graphics of SC10)

Thirdly, the chance of Prime starting up any proper news service seems to be quite slim still. Don't forget that the reason Prime gave was that the ratings were too low. I still find this a stupid excuse.

The real estate show is an example of the sort of stuff we would see if multichanneling was allowed.

... more mindless drivel in other words.

So Greg Robson hosts the show does he? I recollect reading an article about him in the Canberra Times over a year ago, how he was in dispute with SC10 because he wasn't offered redundancy $$$, despite giving over 2 decades of service to Capital/SC10.

Out of interest, who is the SC10 news reader for their abbreviated cheapskate news bulletins. Is it Robson again?

Whatever criticisms may be levelled at the show, it looks more watchable than win news.
