countryslicker Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 I'm wanting to record a few (very late) night radio programs. I can use my VCR and STB for TV, but it seems there is nothing I can use for radio recording. My STB and VCR don't have audio in.This was a feature of certain VCR's in the 80's (e.g. Mitusubishi). Maybe this is an idea that no-one really wants or needs. I have plenty of radios I can feed the sound out of (wity the station already tuned in), but then what do I do? Any methods, suggestions or ideas appreciated. Thanks. Robert.
DrP Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Quiite a few cheap TV tuner cards can do FM stereo, slap in Windows PC with Task Manager schedule and away you go. There are quite a few apps that will record to mp3 or vorbis from the cmd line too.
gclark8 Posted May 13, 2004 Posted May 13, 2004 Most VCRs have AV in and include L+R Audio its called "line in", just connect that to your audio source.
