Warren Jones Posted November 9, 2022 Posted November 9, 2022 The cartridge is a Technics EPC-U205mk3 with a Jico SAS stylus. One small issue - I need to raise the platter 20mm as the Technics arm is slightly too close to the top of the plinth to insert the cable. 3

Kristian Kristiansen Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I knew that upgrading my Thorens TD 150 with a chunky new walnut plinth and an SME 3009 s2 improved + Garrott P77 was going to be an improvement But i was so gobsmacked at how amazing it now sounds - it actually sent a shiver down my spine I am hearing things in my records i've never heard before and after 14 3

My main player uses one like yours. Well done 1 1
Bisguittin Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Good stuff Kristian! You've really got that sumptuous solid wood thing going haven't you? Looks great and likely sounds even better! 1
proftournesol Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 That was my first Hawkwind album. Thirty-four Hawkwind albums later... 1

TravellingTT Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Just gave my 1981 Technics DD table with AR Cambridge C77 cartridge to my daughter. She already had my old Musical Fidelity MC2 speakers. Added to a cheapie Yamaha amp and she loves the sound and I have admit it’s not bad either! 8

How loud are you listening!? 75 w p/c on those little fellas Sounds like you need to get a 250M and then you'll never look back! 1

mwhouston Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 My inexpensive stylus brush crumbled a week back. Just remembered I have this new free soft tooth brush. Seems to work perfectly. And my cartridge will be cavity free. 1 7

Antipodean Brad Posted November 26, 2022 Posted November 26, 2022 There's no Jif and a scourer going near that beauty. What do you use to maintain it looking like that? 1
