Was it just me?? - or was anyone else disappointed in the final episode of Carnivale. I was hanging out for the final of this intriguing/unusual production but felt very much left up in the air with some of the threads in the story seemingly going nowhere.

Any thoughts??

ABC seems to have shown a special "season" of just 6 episodes - don't think I can face another 18

They screened two episodes at a time, we saw them all in half the number of weeks. Hopefully it was so we catch up in time for a quick release of the second series.

Carnivale lost me after 3 weeks. But visually it was just incredible...just about every shot was a work of art.

does anyone know if and when the ABC is showing the second series of Carnivale? I tried searching in their website site to no avail. I was a little disappointed they didn't quickly follow with the new series bec we were only a couple of eps behind. But now I think the whole season is finished over there.

There is a 2nd series in the ABC shedule system, but no date. Series 1 has no 2nd run yet but I would put money on late in the year before the 2nd series.

thanks. i was kind of thinking maybe they were having second thoughts about the series and had actually canned it. so maybe i will hold out before i buy the dvds. woo-hoo!
