With so many arrogant and argumentative members on these fora/forums, is there any wonder that there is so much conflict in the world?

Try dropping all the personal attacks on others; if you disagree, then you disagree! That's that.

I hope that's not aimed at "Mr Nice Guy" and universal, all round* "Kind & Gentle Dude" Santa!

BTW: Happy birthday! Enjoy the big four Oh!

Thanks mate and no, it wasn't aimed at you, or anyone else in particular (although you might qualify on the odd occasion but overall I'm impressed with your humour).

IMO:-

Until there is a single religion on the planet, there will be no peace.

Until there is no right, or wrong there will be no peace.

It is our nature (diversity) that causes conclict, however without conflict (in some degree or interpretation) there would probably be no reason to exist.

Yin-Yang, right-wrong, good-evil, black-white, ion and elctron, matter and anti-matter, crt-digital :-) - without conflict there can be no balance, and if there is no balance then there is no existence..

Bitey.

Apparently seventy year old nuns are a danger to world peace

http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na...ack=2&cset=true

DENVER — A nun who spent the last 18 months in prison for defacing a missile site in a peace protest is scheduled to be released today, but she may face another confrontation with prosecutors for refusing to pay $3,000 in restitution.

Jackie Marie Hudson, 70, was convicted in April 2003 of obstructing national defense and damaging government property. She and two other nuns had poured blood on a Minuteman III silo in northern Colorado in October 2002, hit nearby railroad tracks with a hammer and then sat down to await arrest.[…]

The Middle East will never be resolved until Armageddon is waged, and few will survuve that ordeal.

Thats not actually the correct/whole quote:

The Middle East will never be resolved until Armageddon is waged, and those few who survive the ordeal shall be the chosen ones whose calling from beyond the stars gave them the wisdom and determination to boldly destroy any and all that did not please them. (And although I have trouble reading it) thus it is written.

Hmmm... are you a .luser, Santa?

I've used the Harris term since before Linux was a glint in young Linus' eye! :P

I meant it in the BigPond .luser sense which I doubt goes back that far (if you'd been there you'd know)... Guess not.

I did get that (now why am I admitting that!*) ... but couldnt resist stretching the reference! Just wanted to highlight the length of use with a tenuous linux reference! :P

What I said in my post above was authenticly ........mine, it was not a quote from GWB at all.
