rochford Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Hmmm... so watermarks stop piracy do they? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/t...dio/4328329.stm Maybe they should be applied 'in camera'. - Miles.
hab01i Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Reminds me of the time when people released pictures of the new VY Commodore on the Internet before Holden officially unvieled it. Does anyone know when the new Doctor Who series will hit our set-top-boxes ????
'ct' Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 Yes, the FTA networks are becomming more irrelevant by the day. Especially more so the Australian ones with their heavy reliance on imported product which does not get shown locally for months and months, and in some cases, never at all. Was a real treat to see new Doctor Who (minus watermark/bug) and in 16:9 with a good stereo mix. I quiet liked it, a good mix of old and new with wide audience appeal. ct
BexTech Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 UK BBC1 doesn't carry any watermarks/bugs/dogs. Already seen the episode, but will watch it again on BBC1 bug free. The UK's five main analogue terrestrial channels BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel Four and Five do not use watermarks/bugs/dogs either on analogue and digital terrestrial or on digital satellite.

This of course means when the rest of the new Doctor Who series goes to air on BBC1, all the Bit Torrent versions on the net will be bug free as well. A pity BBC3 and BBC4 carry a bug though. ct
