rfa Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 What should i do? Who do i report it to? How i found out was by the person who lives in my old flat said they had some mail for me, which was a bit odd as i hadn't lived there for more than two years. The mail was letters from phone companies denying "MY" application for a mobile phone, then a week later (yesterday) "MY" replacement medicare card arrived, that "I" had requested.

Keep the letters - they can use them to track the applications and get signature/writing styles or other information. They will advise what to do from there. If they dont move immediatly on it - go see your bank and get your accounts changed (creditcards etc), cancel ATM cards and run on a signature only basis in the interim. Mobile phone bills, medicare cards - its adding up to 100 points of ID which they can then use to do pretty much anything (access your bank accounts, apply for credit etc) Bitey
