metal beat Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 The 'pyramid' in the background is an Edge poweramp and the speakers are the gorgeous Sonus Faber Extremas. Much sexier IMHO than the modern SFs. Personally, I would say those Edge Ref amps are a finalist for the ugliest piece of audio ever.

likwidsh0k Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 You beat me to it tuyen. I was going to post them too.. incredible looking speakers.. and from memory kinda of a Bugatti Veyron engineering feat where no expense was spared to 'achieve the perfect loudspeaker' Much Mmmmm..... cheers 2sheds Great minds indeed 2sheds Now have to find some amps to complement the Nautilus + B&O 9000??? Ummm.. Holy Crap!! Gonna need a pre-amp and 8 x 500 watt monoblocks! The B&W Nautilus has been greeted worldwide as an outstanding loudspeaker which will shape the direction of the audio industry well into the new millennium. Already sought after by cognoscenti, it has been unashamedly designed with the serious audiophile in mind, not only because of its size and shape but also because of its active design – the crossover network is positioned between the pre and power amplifiers. This means that a full Nautilus system needs one stereo pre-amplifier and eight monobloc or four stereo power amplifiers per pair (amplifiers of 100 watts upwards are recommended, with 500 watts being the optimum for the low frequency drive unit).
Zaphod Beeblebrox Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) Personally, I would say those Edge Ref amps are a finalist for the ugliest piece of audio ever. Dunno about that. Those Goldmund speakers take some beating. WTF were they thinking? Edited August 27, 2009 by Zaphod Beeblebrox Brain fart
