Shutterbug Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I have a Nvidia GeForce MX5200 Graphics Card with a S-Video output socket, having attached the appropriate cable between that and the one on the TV,all I get is a monochrome image of tne desktop or the overlay window of whatever program is on screen. It has been suggested to me that the PC is set to NTSC and as my TV is PAL only, any adjustments have to be done on the PC,but how?
gusangora Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Does your TV have an input setting selector? As in, maybe you need to tell it to accept an S-Video signal, rather than the default composite signal. With my TV, I have a choice of composite, S-Video, and RGB, all via scart connector. If I connect s-video without first telling the TV to accept s-video, then I get what you have described.
