mgaleano Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Hello My friend has a new GSM mobile and wants to know how to get the suburb displayed on it. I cannot remember what is the area code you need to program into the phone. Is it 80? Matt
kenneth1503559512 Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I never thought there was a code to get it displaying the local transmitter. I know that Nokia's have a menu option (can't remember what it is though).

This is all dependant on the carrier supplying/transmitting the 'colour code' to display the basestation name. Good luck. Rob.

Anyway thanks for your help.
