Dear forum,

I have a powerpoint of 140MB (including animation, music, google earth recording) that runs for about 15-20 minutes.

As Nanna doesn't have computer I would like to be able to burn it on a DVD for her so she can watch it on tv.

I've used PPT2DVD (software) to create the ISO image but the google recording and sound is missing.

My question is:

Does anyone know of other good software to do this. Doesn't have to be freeware, but I want to make sure that I'm not paying for something that doesn't do the job.

Or any other tip / option is welcome (No Nanna is not buying a computer  )

Cheers

Rudi,

I have been using Cyberlink Power Director to create DVDs. I am not sure it does exactly what you want, but it allows you to import clips, import slides, edit clips, apply transitions, add sound tracks etc. I have been using it to edit home movies, adding titles etc. and I have even managed to create short animations from bitmaps Ihave drawn, although there's a bit of mucking about getting the speed right.

Mostly I have been importing VOB, MPEG, JPEG files for editing. It also does video capture.

I can't guarantee its the best thing around and I don't know what it costs, because I got it as OEM with my capture card, but it's what I've got and it works for me.

Maybe worth investigating further.

Best of luck,

Dik.

PS: the video capture is hopeless on a P4 1.8

One more thought, does your PC have a composite or s-video output? If so you could just play it back and record the video image to a VCR or DVD-R

Best of luck,

Dik

I'll do some trial and error with it.

The only thing I don't want to do is recreating the whole PP again as it has all its music (background and transation etc) in sync with the slides.

Thanks for the quick reply anyway!
