I for one hate the HD logo. It's too big and intrusive.

I'll be switching off 9HD unless this improves. I cannot enjoy the shows because that bloody logo keeps catching my eye.

I suppose that what the bastards want, but in this age of electronic surveys, I cannot understand the massive push to let you know every second what channel you are on.

Most TVs can do this for those who care (anyone?).

We see at least 3-4 ads and promos every 10 minutes, so it's not like we will forget.

That huge logo just makes me hate 9 for daring to be so intrusive. Like 1/3 ads is not enough content, they make it 24/7.

My rant over. Eddie save 9 from this and fix it now!

I agree, a bit late, I've been on hols but the other day saw the HD logo, DISGUSTING NEIN. Get rid on it. Is this what happens after KP leaves the building. Thank God NBN hasn't prostituted themselves and some are lucky to get NBN. That HD watermark is deadset a bigtime incentive to turn OFF NEIN.

What annoys me most about Nine's "new" look is that they retained the worst aspects of the old.

1. The figure '9' in that square shape is so incredibly dated. It reeks of 1970-something (although i understand it's even older)

2. The incredibly irritating "Still the One" slogan. It smacks of arrogance. And never moreso when they reworded the somg which tells me "YOU'RE still having fun... (I am? I don't think so. Did you even ask me? Do you even care?) ...and we're still the one!" You may still be the one, but even if you are at the end of this year's ratings you should really kiss that line goodbye once and for all.

Anyway a couple of years ago I designed a new logo for Nine out of pure boredom one afternoon.

Ironically it retains the dots and loses the '9'. I quite like it. Maybe i should have sent it in to that Dunlop guy while I had the chance. Wish I had now.

That is actually a good logo - perfect for letterheads and an overall image. I wonder how many attempts they had before they came up with the current version. No doubt they tried all shapes and colours but the questions remains - why go back to something so similar?

Thanks (given what they came up with, I really wish I'd sent it to them, although honestly I wouldn't have expected to get anywhere).

As for your second point, Eddie could yet become the scapegoat for Nine's inevitable ratings slide. Getting his mug off our screens may only be the first step.

Channel Nine Loose your not so water mark

The new water mark is so large and bold not to mention to centered.

It does catch your eye to often and I will not risk Burn In on my TV.

I now have switched to seven news, and from now will download as much of nines content as possible.

"Example ER now watching S12 E14 no adds DVD picture quality."

Nine this is the future. The internet.

Nine sit up and listen and fix it before the Com Games.
