phase52001 Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Just checking out ABC2 as I do from time to time when a couple of images caught my eye. In a trailer for new "ABC Kids" programmes on ABC2 were a couple of clips from Gerry Andersons new CGI version of "Captain Scarlet & The Mysterons". I recognised them as I have the DVDs and have already seen the first half of the series. The show is a "re-imagining" of the old series. The CGI is very good and while the stories are aimed at a young audience they are still entertaining. Fans of the original 1968 version may like to tune in and check it out to see how much things have changed. The 26 episodes cost about 20 million pounds. And as far as I'm aware this is it's first showing outside of the UK. When is it on? No idea. "Check your ABC2 guide".
