Waylander Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Are these your interludes up for sale on ebay wixy? Or did someone buy them looking to make a quick buck? Good luck with the sale anyway - a very nice sounding speaker for the price!

[/b] I have to say that Greg really needs to get some better pics of his speakers on his website as the pics on ebay show a beautifully finished and proportioned speaker where as his web site pics make the speakers look ugly imho. Gordon
wixy Posted January 27, 2007 Author Posted January 27, 2007 Yeah those are mine, just thought i'd try my luck with a higher price on ebay as you never know Speakers are still for sale for $1400 here. I just recently ordered the wood cutting for my new speakers so the Interludes will definately have to go.
bakpakka Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Yeah I tried the same thing with my Osborn Titans on ebay. They sold really quickly. Now I'm just waiting to sell the speaker cables and interconnects. Good luck with your sale they look like a really good buy.
wixy Posted February 3, 2007 Author Posted February 3, 2007 Interludes are now sold. The new owner will be using them as rears in a surround setup along with Osborn Epitomes.

Keith_W Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 You probably do push them a bit too hard For a while I was wondering if you had an "Osborn" somewhere in your name ... until I realized there is a speaker named Aaron and you don't seem to think much of it! Hehehe Oh well, we can all play the same game I'll start pushing my ProAc's ... It could get rather messy with the large number of people using different speakers ... on this forum there's also Mission, B&W, Quad, VAF, Aslan, SGR, Equinox, Red Rose ... there are probably more but i've just forgotten them!

Guest RodN Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 People can do as they please [/b] Including enjoying the process of experimentation with many different brands of speaker before deciding
Drizt Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Including enjoying the process of experimentation with many different brands of speaker before deciding [/b] Most definitely. Not sure where it has been suggested other wise
Guest alebonau Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 I remember when you were a bit of a lone voice drizt, good to see more interest in the osborn now and with other owners now about.
ozcal Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Most definitely. Not sure where it has been suggested other wise [/b] Well if it wasn't for you D, I probably wouldn't have paid much attention to the Consonance products that Greg sells and I don't see anything wrong about displaying your enthusiasm for a product that you believe offers great sound quality and reasonable price so don't take it to heart I think this is just light hearted ribbing. Gordon
Drizt Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Im a firm believer in trying things out for yourself to make up your own mind. Glad you have been so happy with your new purchase Gordon.

[/b] YEP me too , you need to have as much information as possible or practical to make an informed decision and this is where folk bringing quality product that they like, to ones attention, is useful.Once you have sifted through all the information then you can get down to the fun part of listening to the components. Your doing a great job D of organising all these gtg at manufacturers , Whatmough tonight is it not? Gordon
Drizt Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 Whatmough tonight is it not? Gordon [/b] Cheers, and yes Gordon. Looks like we will need a second Whatmough GTG as theres a fair few that have unfortunately missed out on the first one. Ill start to organise that one after tonight.

[/b] I have always had a bit of a hankering to hear the Whatmoughs properly demoed .One of the local dealers sells them but the 'best' amp they had was a Yamaha ht receiver and the sound was excrutiatingly bright , bloody Yamaha!!!.
