RichardN Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 You mean I cant rest my glass of red on one when I visit? [/b] I'm surprised you're thinking of putting it down, planning on not feeling well?
Tony M Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 You mean I cant rest my glass of red on one when I visit? [/b] Andrew, I trust you completely to handle a glass of red with the greatest of care Actually, I'm not all that fussy about the old Klipsches. I just don't like crappy ornaments on speakers. (BTW, a good red is NOT a crappy ornament) If, down the track, they become piano-finish Australs or Minstrals, I might become more fastidious.
Grumpy Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I'm not commenting any further on this matter until BEER is mentioned. And no I don't allow that on my gear either.
Super Mustud Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 The only maintenance I ever do is dust with a damp cloth (woofer cones included), and check the cable for tightness. All my drivers are caulked in to the baffle as well as screwed - cant come loose - in fact god forbid I ever need to replace a driver, it would be hell to get them out. [/b] "dust with a cloth"? as speaker maintenance? Sorry, but I cannot agree. In my experience, a much more intensive speaker maintenace schedule is required for audio satisfaction Regular injections of $10,000 upgrades.
