System 2 is sounding particularly magical at the moment. Changing to Dueland JAM coupling caps and the Muji Studio DAC II has been particularly beneficial,  as has a Jupiter Copper Foil recapped Realistic 42-2101A phono stage :)

When he changes vinyl he does a mission impossible and hangs from the ceiling, cable comes down and lowers him 6 inches above the platter, then he realizes he forget the album!!! Doh...

Good friend to have!

What are those “speakers” - or are they pillars holding up the apartment!? ???

I don't know what speakers they're are sorry.

I know the acoustic room was built around the stereo and cost around $1.2M (for the room)

Here's the turntable Maybe you can know the brand?.

Update:

DIY Nelson Pass First Watt M2X power amp with B1 Mesmerize ten years after pre amp. To be honest the M2X needs a pre with gain.

How have you found your Nemos with the B&Ws? Can you provide some impressions of your TT? Thx

That’s a hard one for me Secoman for a few reasons. I bought the systems about 6 years ago, and since then it is all Imhave listened to. (I have 802s downstairs with the HTm1 centre but that is a cinema set up and I don’t listen to music there much). I’m also no wordsmith or “listening expert”, but I will try...

When I auditioned them I had been all over town and tried everything but nothing prepared me for what I heard with these - the detail and the soundstage are the two most impressive features I believe. Together this makes for such enjoyable listening Imnever tire of it. I listen to music now I would normally never listen to and now enjoy most genres of music (except perhaps chamber music!). Modern blues and modern jazz are my favoritires and I usually listen to my Klimax streaming directly via Ethernet from my NAS using Roon now.

For a real serious session of listening I will take of the grilled and break out the vinyl. The clearaudio is a masterpiece to look at, and sounds as it looks. It adds a warmth to the detail and even greater soundstage. Yellow submarine by the Beatles is a song I have always not liked, and not understood, but on the Clearaudio makes total sense. The soundstage created with waves rolling in front of you and voices coming from the distance is incredible and a showstopper for most guests. It is how it was supposed to be heard...The Clearaudio turned my Mothe-in-law into an Elton John fan (Yellow Brick Road). The TT with its floating platter is completely silent. I clean all my vinyl carefully with my okki Nokki (you can see in right cnr) and shoot it with the Zerostat. No one can believe I’m playing vinyl as it sounds so ‘clean’ with dead silent space...

I have never tired of my system and listen every day. I am a BW fan however, now owning 805s as well, and a car full of BW speakers. The Nemo is the best match for the 800s I believe and as the story goes were made for them (Nemo drives the Nautilus). The Clearaudio is so beautiful and sounds magnificent. This are three pieces I will never sell...

Thanks for your wordsmithing!! Very interesting to hear your thoughts. Sounds like you have a great system. I am impressed how silent you get you vinyl. And you are correct - your Clearaudio looks superb!!
