Beej Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 I thought the DSE PVR was out of toppfield factory From my studying it appears to be a homecast (www.homecast.net) I'm not sure which model, probably the DVBT-PVR although in exterior it looks identical to the IP. It's a pity it doesn't have the IP functions I'm tempted to see if I can upgrade the firmware to the homecast version, to see if it adds jukebox functionality and perhaps more timers (DSE only has 10) As it's only two days old and was my birthday present to my SOH, I think I better wait a little while..!
Lowdown Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 At the moment I have an old 68cm CRT, but maybe upgrading next year to a 42 to 50 cmflat panel. Haven't seen the actual setup but reports from this forum seem favourable. Meant 42 to 50in. I'll be up sizing.
austruckie Posted August 30, 2007 Posted August 30, 2007 (edited) This may be starting to bite, I saw the 5000 for $491 as a clearance item at DSE today! (also had the 5000MP for $599) they would be the ones with the smaller HDD, strathfied still has stocks of larger HDD ones Edited August 30, 2007 by austruckie
