Buying In Japan.

G'Day,

I am planning a few HT purchases in the next few months, These inlcude

Projector - probably an epson tw700 ~ $1700 aud

AVR - Probably HK AVR255 ~ $850 aud

PS3 and/or BR player ~ $700 aud

Now im also planning a trip to Japan in early december and was wondering if it would be worth holding off until then and buy in Tokyo. From my brief research prices don't seem to be to much different though - is this what others have experienced as well or are there bargains to be had??

Any expereices would be apprecated

From my buying overseas thread there is some info there.

Basically voltage and warranty issues and price is not great.

Best to shop in HKG and Singapore

The AUD has also dropped like 15-20% since July which wont help either, it was up to almost 110 yen and now it's down to about 80 yen.
