My sister-in-law would like to purchase a 32" flat screen. She's seen cheap prices advertised here and there - but I'm sure the quality is variable at best!

Any recommendations for the best options on a lower price flat screen?

I see Samsung has a few options at the $600 mark...

Thanks

I bought a Samsung LA32B350F1DXXY from Retravision Maribyrnong for $538.00 10Feb2010. I only unpacked it and started using it one week ago. My advice, never buy a TV you have not viewed, this is obviously an older model runout, it's OK, adequate but I'm already dissatisfied with it! Contrast in some programs is good, but live studio programs, e.g. the news studio shots look thin and washed out. I remember at the time looking at a Hisense TV which was quite cheap and on display and being impressed by the picture quality. Nothing beats just standing there watching the TV to see if you're happy with it before you buy. P.S. Any body want to buy a cheap Samsung TV, only $538.00 !
