myrantz Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 wow technology has progressed so far and so quickly... Seems to have a lot of detail for a small camera!
Maverick Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 [quote name=' timestamp='1354426851' post='1849686] A couple from the daughters xmas kinder party, taken with the eos m and 18-55 kit lens, I have been wondering about this camera, Al. Seems like a good option as a travel camera, it was the one thing i dreaded when going overseas was lugging my gear around which was quite heavy. Nice shots and plenty of detail in the second one.
Maverick Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Hers another few from Port Stephens: The Storm Cometh: Oysters Aglow: Rippled Sunset:
56oval Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 mav Very nice shots ,really like the colour & light balance ,nice depth as well . Cheers
Mining Man Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 ~ Edit: Also wondering if anybody in Syd is going to post up some hifi porn pics? Some shots from a recent trip to Switzerland, and some presents waiting for me when I got home, just for Treb.

Mining Man Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Thanks folks. Al - trip was late October. First time shooting in snow - really challenging contrast. But thoroughly enjoyable! mel - that's one of my favourites too. I grabbed a few at the time and was trying to get that perfect shot between pedestrians. But that one seemed to work really well with the couple wandering along.
myrantz Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 This is easily my favourite.. Love the perspective and how the lines and contours intersect  Nice!
Gutty Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) I like this one MM Reminds me of my legs Edited December 13, 2012 by Gutty
gone_bush Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 You have fungus growing on you legs!

Spearmint Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Terrific images MM, also looks like a great time of the year for a visit. Thanks for sharing...

Kind of surprised the beach isn't crowded though (thought you guys are in a heat wave now).

com59841503560232 Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 (edited) Wow al/spearmint/gutty/mav great photos. It would be really helpful for noobs like myself if you added your camera settings or do you just use the auto setting of the camera Edited January 4, 2013 by com5984
gone_bush Posted January 4, 2013 Author Posted January 4, 2013 I know that's it was a family outing, not a photographic trip, but imagine what it would have looked like if you had taken a tight shot of the huts with a long lens.
