Australian release on 5 May. Great Movie, about time.

About time for sure...........hope it's the best of the UK (PQ) & US (AQ) in one, or else i'll just keep my US version.

Only three years late! I got mine from Amazon on 12 February 2008.

But which version are they releasing here: the USA with DNR but lossless audio; the UK with little DNR but lossy audio; or the UK SE with possibly better video and lossless audio (the Nordic release is supposed to have better video than the UK but no English subtitles)?

Just received a copy from the US of this but have yet to watch it. it only cost about $15AUS which is half the price listed at ezy dvd.

It's a roadshow release too so i highly doubt it will even match either the UK or US release.

No wonder I could never find it locally:-)

So I got a UK copy from Amazon UK about a month ago- under $10. Picture and sound (even though lossy) is excellant.

One of those rare movies that stays with you for weeks afterwards...

Hmm interesting. I had the UK version but have since gotten rid of that in favour of the US version.

There is a definite difference in PQ between the 2 (UK being superior) but the US PQ is still very good... and the audio? Well its a 7.1 DTS HD MA track vs a DD 5.1 track...

Interestingly, there is a UK Special edition (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pans-Labyrinth-Spe...2005&sr=8-4"]Amazon Link[/url]) which blu-ray.com lists as having DTS HD MA 5.1!

Anyone seen the local version of this yet, and if so, any thoughts? Are the the video and audio transfers the US or UK versions (or different again)?
