And the challenge to make sure Nick Maxwell doesn't make the grand final now falls on Dougies Dogs. (Been wondering how to structure this but maybe this is good?) Aurora8 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) lol, I get the second highest score in the league the week after I get eliminated. (But on the plus side, my weekly average is nearly back up to 2000). Edited August 22, 2012 by Aurora8
Eli Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 I call shenanigans on Nick Maxwell last week. He put Mitchell on the bench and there was absolutely no reason to without having some inside knowledge that he was gonna be a late out. Cost a few people their seasons. He might as well have got his mate Shaw to put some money on it. Bloody cheaters that Collingwood bunch! *looks around for yorac*
Cooksta59 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Just when you think the wheels have fallen off at Pie land, Carlton get rolled by the Gold Coast.............................. What are the odds on Ratten coaching the blues next year?

Cooksta59 Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 well done to all guys, think we need to get Paul up and running next year so he can be competitive, doesn't live all that far from me so willing to help if you want Paul, just keep in mind I'm still learning as well but was much more competitive than last year, think I averaged nearly 500 more per round, but happy to help before and during the season........ and I might say what a wonderful effort that is from a Collingwood supporter to a Carlton supporter............... Congrats to dougie's dogs on winning the comp Yorac websites likes Dt talk have been a great help to me this year, well worth a look for anything dreamteam. http://dreamteamtalk.com/ Paul if he continues next season may find it helpful. Another website is Dr Dreamteam http://www.afl.com.au/dr%20dream%20team/tabid/15677/default.aspx
Aurora8 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Just wanted to post that I plan to discontinue my participation in DT from next year onwards. I'm thinking of focusing solely on my SC rather than having two separate teams to maintain with two different scoring systems and spending time on them separately. There's no guarantee that I will actually be discontinuing this long before the next season (cue posts re too addictive to give up ) as I could change my mind in Feb/March depending on circumstances. It is however my expectation that I will be continuing in SC so if anyone is interested in an SC league next year or would be interested in my participation in a league next year, then feel free to contact me via PM.
