Anden Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 Just like DVD & BLU - RAY were spose to be uncrackable, tell em their dreamin and delusional
I am not a duck Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) if it does then perhaps it is picking up the Mac address of my router or pc. Possibly. The issue I had was trying to access a programme (Downton Abbey) from ITV Player (UK) before it was available in Oz.. Tried the direct approach first, told not available in my region. Then used a VPN, and got the same message. Changed the lappy to my mobile broadband stick, still didn't work. After using a search engine to find possible reasons why, spoofed the MAC address (using a random programme) on my laptop's network card, and then it worked through the VPN. Edit: I'm not clever with computers. Edited September 7, 2012 by M'bozo

Just open up their web page (192.168.0.0?)Regards Peter Gillespie
Jdrive Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 So over it... tried unblock-us, tunlr, and a billion free proxy sites either got the "only available in the UK" message, or I would get the start of the process, but once I've logged into flixster all I get is a white screen on the step 2 "Link" screen. What a crock.
Guest Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) hey chops, is this a US blu ray? that link you had showed a UK logo rating when i went to it, not sure if that has anything to do with it. is there a UK proxy vpn thing you could try? Edited September 8, 2012 by Guest
David Williams Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 If its a uk one I'll try again as I used a us VPN server..
David Williams Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Chops I should smack you for wasting my time
David Williams Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Next time I won't assume you have a clue
digitalj Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Just to correct information in this thread regarding mac address tracing. The MAC address of your router can only be seen by other routers directly connected to it within the same broadcast domain/network.
