David Williams Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Hey. My Onkyo 1009 has just decided to not allow playing my streams from the Net anymore. I can access the AVR's web interface; it is getting an IP address etc but when I select the net input the display goes blank and I get a bluescreen on my TV instead of options to select favourites etc. Also if I go to the update firmware tab it seems to hang when I press update (it has the latest firmware) – it also hangs if I select USB for a firmware update. No buttons on remote work. I can switch it off from the on/off switch. I have tried removing power plug. Anything else I can try before I do a reset (and lose all my settings)????
David Williams Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Yeah I'm going to reset when I have some time to write down all my settings.
bucket23 Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 (edited) There are options to save your settings. Google it as I don't know the procedure or the top of my head. you can then do a factory reset and then apply your settings back. (I've never done this myself and have only ever done the factory reset). Also note that the firmware stays the same after the factory reset (i think) Edited September 10, 2012 by bucket23
David Williams Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Hmm. I can't see any way to save settings - nothing in the Web interface, nothing on Google.
