The seller could've made a typo by having an extra digit, it's happened to me before with listing items on ebay mobile and in a rush.

The last Kef 104/2 was sold for little under $500 less then a month ago. The slight deterioration in the woofer surrounds internally put me off a bit with bidding higher.

Who ever is bidding on these:

Are getting ripped. White scam van speakers worth no more then $10.

I AM SELLING AS A PACKAGE AS I THINK THEY ALL GO TOGETHER

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION PLEASE ASK BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW HELPFUL I CAN BE WITH THESE ITEMS.

I DO HOWEVER REMEMBER THAT THEY WORKED PERFECTLY MANY YEARS AGO WHEN THEY WERE IN USE.

IF YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER AND THE ITEMS TO NOT WORK I WOULD BE ABLE TO REFUND ON RETURN"

What do you do if you have only one vintage speaker instead of a pair....... Turn the logo on the front by 90 deg, sit it on its side and call it a vintage centre speaker....

OMG that's hilarious!  Is he serious?  A centre channel speaker from the 70s?

I've had one transaction with this seller many years ago.  Never again.  He has some decent stuff but he doesn't describe condition accurately and he overcharges on postage.

Am i missing something obvious in the listing here or is a squashed dust cover a new way of doing things? The seller's others speakers are the same.

No you're not missing anything.  IMHO the unit on offer is far from new as the seller lists it.  At best a factory or transit damaged second.  Crushed dust dome, scratches on the basket and an imperfect edge seal are all the hallmarks of well and truly used IMO.

Cheers,

Alan

Agreed - these speakers are circa 1977. Maybe he means he's owned them for 3 months?....

I have an identical pair - wonderful, competent 'all-rounders'.

But Sarawak?

Beats headphones with remarkable properties...

Beats Pro professional headphones sound so good because they put back the quality lost in modern-day file compression. That means you’re really hearing music the way it was originally heard by the artist in the studio.

They actually change the compression in the file you're listening to!

Because Beats Pro headphones have heavily padded, pivoting ear cups, you get the noise cancelling effect without the need for power switches or batteries. It’s the real studio monitor experience in a headphone.

the noise cancelling you have when you don't actually know what noise cancelling is!

"Beats Pro are made of steel and aluminum, giving you an interior sound platform more solid than most. That’s why you’ll feel the kind of bass that resonates deep in your chest when you play your music."

not sure how you could feel the bass on your chest wearing headphones :)

ebay, a Marantz 6300 described as "Rare", "TOTL", "Mid Century Masterpiece" and a "Beast" while an alright table this is a bit much :P

All this for parts/not working for $340..................tell him he's dreaming.

Also a bit disapointing it hasn't been tested for $340. All they would need to do is pop down to an Op shop and grab an old record to test out.

I think means "inferior" sound platform when compared to decent headphones
