Yep. It was Wilhelm Reich who invented this 'technology' many decades ago. Never been any solid evidence that it works, of course.

If I recall correctly, there was one used in the Kate Bush video clip for the song 'Cloudbusting'.

I guess you could say I'm a collector of RSH myself, and the most I've ever seen one of his records go for previously was a signed mint copy of Pop Crimes (LP and CD) for $600. $1500 is just crazy at this point in time.
