iceblinkfroufrou Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Is the EPL not with Foxtel anymore then? The football was the reason I signed up to Foxtel in the first place. Looks like I'll have to listen to the radio commentary on MUTV, brilliant!

This match will also screen on SBS, which has the right to show one game live each round and replays of the others during the week. SBS has committed to show every EPL team live at least once throughout the season, but if that's not enough and you want to watch your team play live every week then you'll need to sign up for the Optus Sport EPL streaming service. Subscribers can watch the EPL on handheld devices via the Optus Sport app on Apple and Android devices. Alternatively you can watch on the big screen in your lounge room via the Optus Sport app on the 4th-gen Apple TV or a Fetch TV box. The app is available on Fetch TV gen-2, Mighty and Mini set-top boxes, but only if your box was purchased from Optus – which has dubbed it "Yes TV". The key difference between the Apple TV and Fetch TV service is that Fetch TV's new Mighty and Mini support the bandwidth-efficient HEVC video codec and Netflix-style adaptive streaming which optimises the picture for your broadband speeds. This allows it to offer high-def EPL coverage over a 3.8 Mbps connection, whereas the Apple TV needs a 5.5 Mbps link to offer the same picture quality. http://www.smh.com.au/technology/gadgets-on-the-go/hands-on-optus-sport-epl-and-fetch-tv-20160808-gqnc2t.html JSmith
