drummerboy01 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 A friend of mine Paul Kneipp who is on drums here playing in the Kites with Jack Hilson on vocals. Paul has also done a stint with seals and crofts, Leon Berger,Wendy Mathews and loads more too many to mention.

drummerboy01 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Some of the best in the country. They are also the underlying theme of some off this countries big acts. These are the hard workers in the music scene that Aussies don't hear about.I have in my possession some very rare music of live acts that is some of the rarest in this country.I mean raw stuff that was recorded off a tape deck featuring people like Rex goh,Paul kneipp,Leon Berger,Andy burns and more.Brenton White is another.Awesome muso's.

Wags69 Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 Doobie bros song made this pop into my head.........again!! Some of the best drumming around by 'ol mate Jeffrey Porcaro. ?
iceblinkfroufrou Posted July 21, 2017 Posted July 21, 2017 I cannot get the music of 'Longpigs' out of my mind, and it's been like this for a couple of months now! One of the worst names for a band i've ever heard. The band no longer exists, they were part of the Britpop movement apparently, although i think they showed up in the later stages of Britpop. They only released two lps unfortunately. God they have so many fantastic songs on these two records. They had this amazing vocalist, Crispin Hunt, and he put so much emotion in most of their songs. I don't usually pay much attention to lyrics, however because i'm so focused on his voice and the way he delivers the words i certainly do with this band's lyrics. I'm a little obsessed with the group tbh! If the singer wasn't so good as he is i'd possibly not be so much into them. They were picked to be a very successful band, and indeed they had a few hit singles over in Pommie-land, and their lps, especially the first was well received.

I woke up this morning and believe it, I had this song on my mind and I was thinking back to the last concert they played and when this song was introduced as their next song, one of the members in the band said out loud,"well I ain't".A lot of ill feelings in this band.Yea Porcaro played on a lot of albums,he was a classic studio drummer.
