Extra Info:

A very collectible unit with lovely wood-grain and black contrast finish in very good condition.

This is a very HiTech turntable from the early 80's. Solidly built from the Golden era of Sony (Japan)

Direct Drive with Sony's BSL (Brushless and Slotless) motor. Provides high torque ( full speed in only half a revolution) and very low wow and flutter.

Has the Sony Electronic "Servo" Tone-Arm fitted with a brand new Ortofon OMB-10 cartridge.

Optical sensor automatically senses record size (12" or 7")

Even has built in VTA adjustment and electronic anti-skate.

All functions work as they should and I have never had a problem with it.

Purchase last year from a fellow SNA member with the hope that my daughter would embrace the vinyl experience.

Sadly she prefers the convenience of digital........so this beautiful turntable has to go.

There are some very fine scratches  to the perspex dust cover, as would be expected for a turntable of this age, other than that, this is a fine example.

Would definitely prefer local pick-up, as posting this delicate item could be problematic.

Audition is no problem, as it is currently setup as part of my system.

The tyranny of distance. Would love to buy this, but sending TTs via courier gives me sleepless nights

Yes I am very very nervous and extremely hesitant about sending this via courier or post.

Really prefer local pickup, would be a travesty for such a nice piece to be damaged by an overly zealous $4/hr path internship guy trying to impress the boss with his timely deliveries in a vain attempt to secure a full time job.
