petng Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 (edited) Item: Ikeda 9tt Cartridge Location: Melb Price: $1800 Shipped in OZ Item Condition: Used approx 500-800hrs Reason for selling: Upgrading Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: The hrs used on the cart is a estimate for I do not keep a counter. I have 2 turntables and 4 carts in rotation plus a cd player. The Ikeda is 3.5 years old. Used only on a Thales Simplity Tonearm. All records cleaned with KLaudio Ultrasonic RCM (RCM is a great way to maximise life of a cart.) The specs on the Ikeda is a bit misleading. It states .15mv but it seems to have more output than .2mv carts I have. I am currently using it on either 20x or 26x on my Allnic step and transformer. In fact i had a Tron Phonostage that only had 10x step us and it was fine as well. But i would suggest a step up with at least 20x gain. Pictures: Edited June 8, 2018 by petng

The reason for this is that the 0.15mV is the output voltage measured at 3.54cm/sec. At the more commonly used 5cm/sec measurement, output would actually be 0.21mV. I've only read excellent reviews of this cartridge! GLWTS!

Guest Misterioso Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 A wonderful cartridge. I have listened to it extensively and I use the 9TS myself.
