This is just tongue-in-cheek, so not having a go at you Rolling Stones(plainly average musicians), yes, but 'style is everything, baby' Bob Dylan (whiny average musician), yes, but a pretty good poet Tom Waits (can't sing properly), ahh ... yeah .... next! Norah Jones (sleeping pill), yes, but you will have a sweet dream Leonard Cohen (just plain depressing), yes, but sometimes one has to wake up and face reality Kanye West and most rappers/hip hoppers (no discernible talent at all), no, they are very talented in promoting themselves, just look at their dominance nowadays 1

steve-rsa Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 I don't really have favourites, I change around. A the moment I'm listening to early reggae - Jackie Mittoo, King Tubby etc, early Trojan records stuff. I like 80's synth (Visage, Human League, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode etc), Jazz - Coltrane, have been through metal, classical, swing and techno phases. Anything really. Just not Floyd
