jdh500 Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 (edited) Item: Yamaha RX-V2095 Ex Flagship AV Receiver Location: metro Sydney (West Ryde 2114) Price: $125 (original retail was close to $3000) Item Condition: used Reason for selling: not using Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: This was the Yamaha Flagship Receiver around 1999 to 2000, very old school, weighs approx. 22kg, made in Japan, large power supply, heat sink etc etc, rated at 5x 100W plus 2x25W front effect speakers. Has the usual Dolby Digital/DTS, pre-outs and pre-ins, digital inputs but no hdmi. I think it can also be used as a 2ch power amp. Anyway, comes as shown with user manual, main and zone 2 remote and AM radio loop. I’ve had it in storage for some time, done basic testing today with 2ch stereo and all good, have not done a full HT setup as I don’t see it bring used for that now with later surround formats. To good to through out, it might suit someone that wants to use it in a garage/man cave setup or to confidently drive a couple of pairs of outdoor speakers etc. As it is bulky and heavy and I fo not have the original packaging it would have to be pickup only, unless you want to pay for your own packaging and postage. BenThatcher Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I'd jag this if it was in SA... @ 22kg, postage would be horrendous. GLWTS
jdh500 Posted October 19, 2018 Author Posted October 19, 2018 Postage probably not that bad, more of an issue is that I don’t have the original box to pack it in, postage would end up being arround $45 +/- $10 based on recent experiences. JDH

JDH Flicked you a PM. I’ll take it if you’re willing to post it, I’m happy to pay postage obviously.
jdh500 Posted October 20, 2018 Author Posted October 20, 2018 (edited) Will probably be over the Aust. Post 23kg limit once packed, would probably need a courier, for anyone really keen, best to confirm with somewhere like Pack and Send. I’ve used them before for another large Amp and subwoofers in the past. If you are prepared to risk sending it rapped in about 6 layers of bubble rap it would be within limit just. I have an old Elektra Audio amp box, still not large enough unfortunately. JDH Edited October 20, 2018 by jdh500 1

jdh500 Posted November 9, 2018 Author Posted November 9, 2018 No real series interest through the forum so ended up selling it last week through eBay as a pickup for $150. Hence no longer available for sale. JDH
