This unit has been purpose built using selected good quality products.

 

The specs are:

 

250W per channel RMS into 8 Ohm, unit takes 240V and single ended RCA inputs.

 

Insanely powerful but also very clean excellent quality audio, no hisses or hums, no audible distortion.

 

Rear of the unit has the following inputs and outputs:

2 x positive binding posts for speakers

2 x negative binding posts for speakers

2 x RCA input sockets for line input from preamplifier, DAC or even a google chromecast

1 x AC Mains socket

1 x AC Mains Cable with Australian plug

 

Front Panel has a touch sensitive power switch and small white Led

250Watt x 2 = 500w note this is on a 8 Ohm impedence.

 

also attahced the link to the CDA500 module which refers to it as 500W (250x2)

But, in all of history, amp ratings are listed by per channel.

Thanks for informing me.  I have seen both in my time, but hard to change the header in this post to make it clearer.  So the person interested will read the thread and clarify.

 

In hindsight I would have preferred to have 250W per channel clearly stated.
