Fastway continue to be the WORST courier service on earth.

Delivery was scheduled for yesterday - does not turn up.  Now the message says package is delayed. ring customer service and they say they have not even received the package at their depot yet.   No idea when it is going to be delivered and btw - they don'y have an address anywhere in the system.    This is automatically provided by Amazon and they always have the address.

Aussie post deliveries get delivered when they say it will be delivered.

I guess I will complain to amazon again to never use Fastway.

I had the same experience recently.

Amazon defaulted to Fastway for some awful reason and my parcel seems to have been in the courier's van for three days before he even attempted delivery.

I’ve had three delivers from fast way lately, they were on time and no issues.

So far had multiple large items delivered with Couriersplease. Arrived safely and by far the cheapest but I’ll be damned if they don’t arrive a few days late every time...

How about 9 days to get from  Alexandria to Lane Cove.... Fastway needs a new name

In the trade they are known as 'F***ed Way'.

They are OK as long as it isn't urgent.

And the new name is Aramex, need a new slate, change names

https://www.fastway.com.au/

Aramex PJSC is an international express, mail delivery and logistics services company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.    They bought Fastway in 2016.

Clearly changing its name is to try and wash the stench that is the Fastway brand.

stay far far away

ask the ebay seller not to use them otherwise you will take your business elsewhere.

I complained many times to amazon that hardly any deliveries are by Fastway now - for me at least

i saved some money and listen to my old stuff more.

A logical next step - make each household (in the world) its own postal union which doesn't recognise any adjacent ones' stamps or has any means of delivering anything anywhere. do away with electricity networks, cars, trucks, trains and planes. media, phones, internet and other communications also.

After all - "there's no such thing as society".

(M. Thatcher quote of course)

For what it's worth, I've never been disappointed by TNT for all of price, service, and speed, but unfortunately since I'm not a corporate client I can only get to use them through a broker such as transdirect or couriersandfreight.

I currently have a parcel with TNT, via Transdirect. I can find nowhere to email a query re the freight fee being charged.

The service was ordered and paid for on Monday to pickup from a private residence. 3 days later the seller was contacted and asked to drop the parcel to the nearest depot (which they specified). Bless him, the seller was OK to drop the parcel (all 22 kg of subwoofer and packaging) to the depot, about 30 minutes away.

I would have asked him to drop the item there in the first place if Transdirect had provided that option, instead of charging me about $35 more for (the offer of) pickup at the seller's residence.

The parcel is currently at Redbank (or is that A red bank) in QLD and headed south (presumably).

Unlikely to meet the ETA of 25/10 (today), as predicted at the time of purchase of the freight service.

Mostly happy with e-Go, but I use the depot drop and not home delivery.

Auspost have "lost" a few items sent to me over the years, including a couple of eBay items in the last few years.

You DO get what you pay for, but if money was no object, do you think I'd being buying used stereo equipment?

Fastway is about the cheapest parcel deliverer in Australia. You cannot expect gold plated service from them. You get what you pay for.

Stung again with another ebay purchase (New Years resolution never buy from them again)

Item bought showed delivery by Australia Post but tracking is Fastway (wouldn't have bought if I realised Fastway was involved)

Should have arrived yesterday, contacted seller and he replied allow 5-10 working days, he's now amended that to 7-15 working days and to be patient

Cheaper than Aust Post.  I don't think so.  Aust Post are many multiples better than Fastway.

Fastway should be avoided so they go bankrupt.  Buyers should complain to sellers about Fastway.

I complained enough times to amazon au that they do not use Fastway for local deliveries.

They are used now and again on overseas shipments.

Funny thing happened prior to Christmas. 2 local Fastway from Amazon and 1 overseas Fastway came on time. Aust Post Express Post from Gold Coast which always comes overnight came late on 4th day.

No fan of Fastway but if they are totally bad, they would no longer be delivering for Amazon. Yes, it may still happen but they appear to be doing enough at the moment.

I find it hard to believe that anybody would be worse than Toll.Just read the user reviews/ratings.Most people say they wish they could give them less than one star.

According to WA Consumer Affairs these couriers have a legal responsibility to take reasonable care of any goods in their possession and are responsible for any damage they cause. With or without insurance. You can detail any complaints /claims you have on form letters on the relevant state consumer affairs departments websites.I think the seller/sender needs to make those claims.

It will all be better once they change their name....................right?

Well, if it works for them.....................it might work for TNT as well!

https://www.fedex.com/en-au/connect.html

I think they should change their name to reflect the level of their service Fastway to Farceway
