Kölsch ‎– 1983 - 2LP - 2015 on Kompakt records.  superbly dynamic recording on 4 sides of well pressed vinyl.

Speaking of Kompakt:

Gui Boratto - Chromophobia -- a mix of minimal techno and house. "Name Yer Price" lossless download from Bandcamp for this week only.

Thanks for the motor city reminder! Classic.

Currently feeling Barker's 2019 album. Detroit techno aesthetic stripped of the percussion. Bewitching.

No need to be sorry. There’s no rule  that you can only post once, if you like the album post as many times as you like ?

Very kind @MoveD ?

Must say I've been digging the 80s proto-house sound a lot lately where analog synths,  linn drums and early sequencers were the order of the day. Much of it strays dangerously close to unbearable cheesiness but i don't mind walking that line. ;)   I find the bassline following the breakdown on "Beau Michael - Move Away" is worth the risk...perhaps lol

This thread is pure class - some fantastic sounds here that I must explore. I haven't seen the name Convextion for probably 15 years and had no idea he was still producing. ? wonderful!

The Detroit Escalator Co. perhaps deserves a mention too here ...

Good call on The Detroit Escalator @Rrobot. That's a new find for me. Both E.R.P. LPs are well worth checking out.

How about some dub techno for your Friday afternoon:
