Sentient Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Hey fellas, I dont mind admitting, I have been having Group Therapy. It's helped me enormously. Every week, I get my Group Therapy session in. 2 hours of healing. My favourite part of the session, is the last 30 minutes, the Guest Mix. And when I come across a guest mix, that really grabs me, I'll share it. 30 mins of bliss,,,,,, Here is my 1st Guest Mix share,,,,,, Jody Wisternoff and James Grant - ABGT147 Guest Mixhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9ctZAZ1yZ0#t=1h30m40s (if for whatever reason this link doesnt take you straight to the right spot, skip to 1h30m into the youtube clip) Edited October 8, 2015 by ozmillsy 1
Viognier Posted October 11, 2015 Posted October 11, 2015 I was somewhat disappointed that Olafur Arnald's only Sydney show was with a 13 piece chamber orchestra and not as Kiasmos which played in all other capital cities. But last nights show was exquisite. I loved it. Hopefully he brings back Kiasmos to Sydney soon though. Grabbed this album from the merch table after the show. New Nils Frahm and Olafur called loon. Interesting cover just made up of the letters l o n. Nothing like Ólafur's show as this is all electronic. Could probably post over in the Sunday night ambient thread. 1

I'm a massive fan of ABGT, but specifically the Anjunadeep component of their label. I'm still more than a little gutted that I didn't get a chance to attend the Anjunadeep after party at the Ivy a few weeks ago when the boys were in town. Jody Wisternoff looks to have found a new partner in crime in James Grant after his success with Nick Warren collaborating together as Way Out West. As the scourge of the Festival DJ continues to grown into an insatiable monster it's great to know that there's still room for the type of DJ that knows the value of melody, groove, subtlety, programming, and mixing. I'm yet to hear a bad Anjunadeep release, there's not enough nuanced, melodic, deep progressive and tech house out there at the moment. These guys get it so right. These guys get it so right.I'm with you G'soap. Anjunadeep releases draw me in, and carry me away.I do enjoy all the other ABGT stuff for variety. But Anjunadeep stuff is my fav. Have been waiting patiently for 'Anjunadeep 7' cd to arrive in the mail from the uk. I fear its lost. :-S
metal beat Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Can't believe this sat unplayed for about 6 weeks when I first bought it as his first album was Meh. Blanck Mass - Dumb Flesh - 2lp, great pressing. As impressive as Fcuk Buttons first album - the 2nd track Dead Format is one of the best bits of music I have heard in a few years - crazy distortion with an undercurrent electronic beat. 9/10. 1
analog brother Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 yeah good album! i rock this one in tha car. 1

I ordered anjunadeep06 and anjunadeep07 compilation cd's (both mixed by wisternoff/grant). The shipping advice said both were packed and sent. I only received anjunadeep06. {sighs} Another 2-3 week wait for the replacement 07 cd. Enjoying 06 on the main rig now (main rig isnt hooked up to the internet, it plays hard copy software only).
