kelossus Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 (edited) Item: Kef Bailey Transmission Lines Location: Ipswich QLD Price: $300 Item Condition: Reasonable Reason for selling: Taking up too much room and I will not use them Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Bought these awhile ago off Gumtree. I had big plans for them which never materialized and they are just taking up too much room. Cabinets are Bailey's TL design with the speakers oddly mounted on top. They actually have another cabinet which covers the top drivers but that is not shown in the pictures. One of the B139 was frozen when purchased so I bought an absolute mint replacement pair. The speakers now come with a spare B139 driver. One of the tweeters was slightly pushed in but I pulled it out with tape and it works fine. Crossovers are fairly elaborate and the original owner hand wound all the inductors back in the 70's. All the caps are NOS PIO types. The Piezzo tweeter has been disconnected and appears to be a later addition, not likely done by the original builder. Intended to mount the drivers inside the TL's as is done normally but realistically I will never get around to it. Cabinets would come up great with a sand and refinish. The drivers alone are worth the asking price and the B139 and T27's are the later variants which are more sort after. The PIO caps may be worth something but I don't know. Please come pick them up and restore them to their former glory. Pictures: Edited March 24, 2019 by kelossus 4

peterstt Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Are you willing just post all drivers and x'over instead of the 4 boxes? Regards Peter
