I really like the Monkeypod. Great weight too. Is that a WA22 driving them? I miss my WA5, love the Woo stuff.

Yeh,  it came with the crescent strap. It’s been a while since I trialled the VC but I don’t remember them being this comfortable.  Putting it down to the crescent mod.

Yep it’s the WA22. After a few teething problems I’m loving it. Still sorting out my fav tube compliment.

That's not even all of them!!

Hahaha. crazy. I was looking at some cables on Amazon last night actually. Made in the finest sweatshops by the most highly skilled Chinese kids available. Very reasonably priced!!

I’ve seen people mention this but not seen a pic of crescent vs non crescent side by side.

I've got some listening to do. First impressions are that my Aeolus is my perference and my chain probably isn't up to snuff for the Vo. But damn can I appreciate the technicalities of the Vo, really good just slightly behind the Utopia.

What system are you using? VO seem to benefit a lot from tube amps. I tried with a Bottlehead crack and they sounded fantastic.

Ah, great. The BHC I bought came with a few broken parts, so I'm just waiting for those to arrive.

3m? Wow... that's a run, Very nicely done' n finished (as are all your cables I've seen...top looking gear. Last cable I made (well if I'm honest it's not made as I haven't terminated one end yet lol) drove me insane @16 way braid 2m length and I have crappy fingers that no work. There's a couple of spots where I've droped a line here 'n there...But I haven't the will power to undo it all and try again with such fine fritzy lizty (was using a small/fine gauge for the 16 strand count), who was I kidding last 8 way weave I had issues lol.

As to kids, mine are all grown but they haven't all left the nest yet....I do so want that last room, nice size for indoor workshop lol.

The photo doesn’t really do the cable justice. Lovely work.

Looks the goods.

I made myself the same for the D8000. It's very good.

Enjoy! Let me know how it goes after you've had a bit of time on it.

This one is called "Dumb & Dumber".

Dumb for thinking maybe I should. Dumber for bothering to. Also don't have a mini xlr headphone here to try it, go figure.

8x22awg type 6 copper litz wires. Main cable around 9-10mm thick. Anyone with my 4wire versions, this has those going to each cup! Modified furutech mini XLR to fit the wire. Intense.
