Gondon72 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Haven't really tested it but a full charge should be in the region of 6-7 hours. Good thing is, you can still use the cable for direct listening when you take out the Bluetooth module for charging. :) Noted. any idea anywhere in singapore has a wide range of bluetooth headphone that can test? :D
maxngck Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Noted. any idea anywhere in singapore has a wide range of bluetooth headphone that can test? :D You can try Stereo (plaza sing or ion), ConnectIt (Jem).
francis wu Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Warning!! Just tested the Xiaomi Piston which Bro Bluepill193 brought to my place. His Piston which was bought from Taobao at a cheaper price is a fake. The sound is very diffuse and boomy and vocals sounded distant! On first look, there is no visible difference in the construction. Under the magnifying glass, the fake has rough machine grid lines on the body versus the original which is very refine and smoother!
bluepill193 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Yes it was so subtle the external differences. Bought for around 80rmb on taobao, cant remember the shop. I thought something so cheap shouldnt have fake but now I know. Thanks francis for verifying, and showing me your superb system!
aegis0129 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 If u wanna buy from taobao better to get from tmall which are registered companies. Less likely to get cheated there. The retail price of the pistons is 99, selling for 80 is the first red flag liao. Using one as my gym iem now, can't complain for the price. Dun really like the fit, needed to mess with a few tips.
bluepill193 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Actually it was from a seller under tmall...
kzone Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 hmmm... I think mine's fake then.. bought fm someone so dont know who the Taobao seller is. gave it away after 1 listen
silencer13 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 hehe! A fake of a Chinese product.... never thought I'd see the day.
aegis0129 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Actually it was from a seller under tmall... wah sway siah. pls give feedback or amend if u have not done so. hard to believe 20bucks item also wanna fake.
kzone Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Have not been following this thread too much so dont know if anyone has mentioned Klipsch X10. I highly recommend this for SQ and extreme comfort. Very very light and touted as the smallest iem ever made !! Original price USD350, Amazon been selling at around USD130 http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Image-X10-Noise-Isolating-Earphone/dp/B000WAHFBK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1387265163&sr=8-1&keywords=klipsch+x10
francis wu Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Maybe a better word to use is 'clone'! They clone all items that are best sellers as the market volume is huge even though the cost of the original item is low end! :o

kzone Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Yeah.. the only cons are no textured marking to identify L&R and that I can hear the cable rustling sound magnified thru the earpieces
Guest durianlover88 Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Yep..the Klipsch x10i...keeping me bery satisfied. I hope when the Geek Out comes next month it can bring out the best in this IEM. There is a new x11i model I think available. Did not find much feature or spec difference with the x10i.

It is sold by a retailer. So that means you will need a forwarder. May still be worth it though
greenhorn Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 wah sway siah. pls give feedback or amend if u have not done so. hard to believe 20bucks item also wanna fake. Which goes to show that even at rmb99 it's still profitable enough? Sent from my LG-P875 using Tapatalk

May still be worth it though just use hopshopgo, much cheaper and more efficient than vpost anytime. have u checked local prices on this world beater?

ralfale Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I have sticked to westone for my IEM needs. Moved from W1 to W3 to W4R. I find them most comfortable comparing to previous brands I've used such as shure or UE. Bought a x10 during last black Friday sales for 99usd. Pretty OK but the cables looks thin and easily snapped. This year, I've managed to fight off the urge on the 20% BF sales for JH AUDIO. I hope I can tame my temptation again next year!
jerms Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Bought a x10 during last black Friday sales for 99usd. Pretty OK but the cables looks thin and easily snapped. dats wat i tot at first. but after 2 yrs of thrashing and abuse, it still holds up. the x10 makes u forget u're actually wearing an iem. my previous was the westone 3. love that too.
ralfale Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I'm happy to say too after more than a year of usage by my wife, the x10 still holding up well :)
Guest durianlover88 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Me have been ill-treating the x10i on the road...it just would not fail...sigh..
jerms Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 yeah the durability + price + SQ + weight + extreme comfort is pretty hard to beat.
