You should be OK they don’t sell that stock anymore, it was a different qty pack too.  This is what it should read on the back, notice the recycling symbol too.

I am somewhat bewildered that this is actually of great importance in your life.

It is a mechanised toothbrush FFS.

wrong!

Its a electromechanical tooth brush!

there is a difference!   Its either brush your teeth and look after them or spend mega dollars in a dentist chair or loose them!   Your choice.   You need to used the product correctly with the correct brush, otherwise its ineffective.

BTW Super Mustard,

I wouldn't  go further than 3mths use even if the indicator hasn't said so, if you use one for 3 mths, put a new one on and you'll notice the difference in drive.  I try and replace it every 2mths if not more.

Pedantic much ? Let alone dramatic.

Anyway, I shall let you get back to polishing. My admonishment won't worry you even slightly I would think.?

You sound grumpy, ranty. Not a toothache, I hope?

I'm not keen on the shaver shop, service is served with a dose of pretension ;)

They have them on the Wollies site, maybe I just need to ask.

Ah, that reminds me. I must start a thread on Braun Series 9 shavers. The fields of Elysium...

SM. Good to see you back posting, hope you and the missus are well.

*Tailors, I know you get your shoes made but ..shirts(not suits), do you know some tailors in Bleak City who'd  make up some linen shirts(casual)?

I had some made in Singapore a few years back and they are a very nice fit and comfortable up here an hours and a half drive north to Brisvegas.

you should try the Panasonic, wipes the floor with any Braun.....

My son had a Braun, I convinced him on the Panasonic..... leave the sink and the surrounding bench deposit free and perfectly clean and it shaves better than a blade.  I actually cut myself bleeding the 1st time I used it and then I read the instructions and realised what I was doing wrong.

Hi Luc, yes all well. I put it down to leading an exemplary lifestyle. The only tailor in Melbourne I use these days is the American Tailors. Linen, you say? Funnily enough I go for the second fitting of a linen jacket this week. But their tailor no longer does fully bespoke for new customers. I have found that I am very happy with their range of ready made shirts. The alterations made to suit each person are excellent. The shirts are particularly reasonable in price when on special. Less so otherwise. I very much like their Emanuele Maffeis shirts.

Have you tried to contact the Singapore tailor? I know people who have had good experiences with shirts made over the internet. I also know people who have not.

As all regular long-term Stereonet readers would know....I am a sensitive soul and easily wounded. Hence my choice of Braun over Panasonic. Both are great. The Braun is gentler. The Panasonic apparently does an even closer shave than the Braun. However I am now dreadfully off topic and am at risk of being chastised. I remember being once warned for going off topic...on a thread I had started (as though any of my threads actually have a topic).

No. Not yet at least.

But I've come to realise that the shirts I got there were a bargain and yes I have the rather stern Sikh and his equally large sons's number and email.

I'll reach out to them.

Just a reminder that using an electric toothbrush doesn't excuse you from flossing either, you need to do both and also use a mouthwash.

ive got the philips lectric flosser (airfloss) if means anything :D uses water jet

Here’s a real comparison2C08E101-4657-4578-A969-9412FF013234.thumb.jpeg.f2155f6859899c0af22f9c0044bba379.jpeg

No knackers. Here is the real comparison. I think @candyflip has a point that you can choose no disposable plastic at all.

Besides you kept talking about the product being recycled. Recycling bin waste has been going to land fill for ages now. So none of the plastics are really being recycled.

I’m far from a rabid environmentalist but we can all be open to better responsibility for our planet.

I knew there would finally be a thread in which I could ask this question:

does anyone know where to buy toothpaste that is not tested on animals and also contains fluoride?

it seems to be an impossible combination for some reason.

Oh and welcome back SM :)

for even greater environmental responsibility  you could as some traditional communities do. just chew on a neem stick until it makes bristles and then brush with it. no toothpaste required as neem is powerful stuff. nothing required to make the brush... nothing to recycle as the stick is bio degradable. its been done in some countries for centuries.. all that said ...i'll stick to manual and electric :)
