@March Audio

This is a fairly strong post which I will self report to the mods, just getting a bit tired of your attitude.

IMO almost every post of yours in SNA in various areas are argumentative and from a point of view that you are cream cheese / an absolute expert of all and the rest of the world  knows bugger all.

I am in this forum to learn. And I have been in this forum for more than 9 years, and I have learned a lot.

But some members love harping on their knowledge and good they are?

I would love to learn from you, but here you are p.... on a product you have not heard?

Mate, I have no idea how good you are and how good your products are, and when I could I would love to hear them .

I personally would not mind in you putting your money where your mouth is.  And I don't have any idea, but Uptone has a track record, is yours as as good? Better?

Can you refer us to reviews, etc.?

Well the floor is open to anyone to challenge my comments and provide a cogent argument or opposing view.

Why don't you try that instead of being rude and offensive?

The idea that it is required to have heard this product to form an informed and valid opinion on it, or be allowed to express that opinion, is faux in the extreme.

That opinion is formed from many sources of data and technical knowledge. If you don't see that as valid then next you will say That the moon could be made of cheese and you can't prove otherwise until you go there and take a bite.

So I'm not allowed to say this product doesn't do what it claims and these are the reasons why I think so.  I am hardly alone in that view.

Sounds like you want censorship to me.

I stand by my point that I find your posts condascending.

And it is not censorship - that is what the mods do - they can pull me or you in line at any time.

I find that you are opiniated, and to date has not provided that much evidence of your views and quality. By all means, I am not saying I am right, and you may be very good, but please change your attitude and show/prove your products and views. Getting your products reviewed should not be that hard and then we will al know?

If you are the source of knowledge of all, rather than tell us how dumb everyone is, please help us to understand. I am an accountant, I am not a trained tech or engineer or scientist. My hi-fi journey is based on trial and effort (including many mistakes, including snake oil).  We can argue till the cows come home about who is right and who not - I am not interested in that.

I am interested in respectful discussions where people share measurements and personal views.  And where we are allowed to have our own opinions.

I personally am of the opinion that EVERYTHING is important in hi-fi, that is (ignore the sequence)room, speakers,  cables room treatment, source, power supplies, source etc. etc.

I have no right or wrong answers, rather - what works for anyone in their position and how can we all - on this forum  - help those to get ""better" music. That " better" may not be my or your "better", but who cares? - this is a hobby - we wish to enjoy it.

It is  journey. Lets make it enjoyable rather than this IMO holier than thou attitude I get from you.

I have also learned a lot from this forum. It can sometimes be difficult trying to consolidate the opposing viewpoints or "facts" from different people or indeed the people from different audio forums.  On some such occasions, I need to look beyond the field of audio to find a reasonable explanation for how such totally opposing and yet  immutable "facts" can co-exist.
